WOOHOO Dogglounge's Spill the DJ event raised 40,000L!

Dogglounge was one of the first electronic clubs dedicated to Deep House Music in Second Life and Real Life. Founded by Brian Nicholas in 2006, it became a venue not only for his inworld talents but his Internet station Dogglounge.com. The inworld club has now been placed in the loving hands of Ms. Sidda Leigh who contiinues to grow and cultivate the Dogg's gourp of dedicated follower. Last night Sidda hosted a wonderful event for Operation Squeegee featuring 6 hours of House Music for our worthy cause. When all was said and done, the event raised right at about 40,000L! Many, many thanks to Sidda and to all the Doggloungers - I love you Ms. Leigh! Go SQUEEGEE!!!

Ariel Wingtips's Operation Squeegee Blogger Challenge!

Hey everybody! The lovely and talented Ariel Wingtips has thrown down the gauntlet with her Operation Squeegee Blogger Challenge! The challenge is simple and was outlined in her blog here, but I am doing the old copy and paste (and high jacking one one her pics as well) to make life simple for us all, LOL:

Here's the challenge - get your squeegee on:

(1) get the squeegee pack and squeegee antlers at Operation Squeegee vendor area - near the stage
(2) come up with a creative look - it can be a fashion pose, a group, squeegees in the wild, use your imagination...
(3) Blog it! Add to the Operation Squeegee Flicker Group -
(4) HAVE FUN!

As demonstrated by Ms. Wingtips in her pic above you can use both items available at the vendor area and non-Squeegee items. Here is Ms. Wingtips credits for ideas on how to proceed:

Events Not To Miss!

You shouldn't miss any events if you can help it, but here are a few special large programs and things to do to support Operation Squeegee that have broad appeal. Please send a big thank you to all the partner sims, venues and residents who have spent time, resources, and given us the gift of space in order to further our mission of raising money for the National Wildlife Federation. Be sure to check our calendar, and also the Home Sim and Grid Wide events tabs. How about we raise another $1,000 dollars this weekend -- wait, no, how about we try for $3,000? I think we can do it. Liberty's first ever date auction, where you can bid to win a date with SL's finest beefcakes and hotties. Just under one week under our belts here at Operation Squeegee and we have already raised $1000.00 US Dollars! Thanks so much to everyone who has contributed their time, efforts and money to this wonderful cause. We still lots of events going both on and off the sim including the Rent-A-Ho Auction and Fashion Show at the Liberty sim this Saturday the 10th!
